This is a formal gown that does all of its arguing through the pattern, with embroidered blooms in rose, ochre and indigo climbing the full length of a strapless column. The straight neckline stays severe so the flowers can be extravagant.
Two things to know: a straight fall from bust to floor, and a discreet slit for movement.
The cool pale base makes every color in the embroidery sing. Bring it out when plain was never going to be enough.
